Canadian North brings communities closer together.
As part of the Exchange Income Corporation family of airlines, we are a stable, long-term operator with deep roots in the North.
We serve 25 communities across Nunavut, Nunavik, and the Northwest Territories, flying from our southern gateways in Ottawa and Edmonton into some of the most remote regions in the country.
Our work includes scheduled passenger and cargo service, large-scale charter operations for industry, and specialized flights for sports teams, cruise lines, and tour operators across North America and beyond.
Some flights are planned months in advance. Others are urgent, because someone is waiting on the other end for food, medicine, or emergency care.
This is high-trust aviation, with no tolerance for error. Conditions change quickly. Decisions count. People rely on us to get it right and safety always leads the way.
Our people take pride in doing difficult work well, supporting each other, and showing up for the communities that depend on us.
Company Mission
Canadian North's mission is to make life better in the communities we serve. This means:
- Helping people stay connected to the things that matter most.
- Supporting local events, youth programs, and community-led initiatives through our Community Investment Program.
- Creating meaningful career opportunities across our network.
We play an essential role in Canada’s Arctic communities. The work we do every day affects real lives, and that focus guides everything we do.
