Now that the new revenue-based SQC (Status Qualifying Credits) system is officially live as of yesterday, is anyone changing their spend strategy? I'm curious if the move to 'dollars spent' instead of 'miles flown' is going to make Super Elite impossible for those of us who hunt for flight deals.

My company pays for me to reposition on AC and I hit 25k status last year with that. Hoping to improve this year with the spend dollars as I think they book last minute fare buckets which are $$$
