There are lots of things changing due to ICAO audit...so if you want to keep up to date on what is currently in consultation where you can provide your feedback (speak now or forever hold your piece!) you can bookmark the NPA website.
Current Consultations Site
wwwapps.tc.gc.ca
It also provides a link on tab to the left (in that page) to search past NPA's....
Also...when you are trying to figure out what the hell they changed and why (when it comes to a regulation), you may be lucky if it has been updated since 1996 as they will have a new SOR number at the bottom of the rule...
Example: SOR/2005-173, s. 11
You can search that in google: "Canada Gazette II SOR/2005-173, s. 11"....
This will bring you to the CGII rule making information. When you are there go to the RIAS section. Sometimes if it is an obscure reference it won't be covered, but for many cases it talks about the reasoning for the rule change it may help you understand the why and the intent or aim of the rule.
To keep on top of these you simply just need to subscribe to
CARAC and you will receive all CAR/Standard/TP document consultations when they go out...and let you know when they are in force.
Best of luck!
